One pass. It all goes in the hopper.

A rake gathers debris into piles you still have to pick up. A leaf blower pushes it somewhere else, often right back onto the lawn you just cleared.

A push sweeper actually collects it. As you walk, the wheels spin the brushes, and the brushes flick leaves, needles and clippings straight into the hopper behind them.

  • Collects debris instead of moving it around
  • Sweeps lawns, patios and driveways
  • Adjustable brush height for different surfaces

Two widths, so it fits your yard.

The 21 in model is compact and easy to steer around flower beds, trees and through narrow gates. The 26 in model sweeps a wider path with a bigger hopper, so larger lawns take fewer passes and fewer trips to empty.

Works great right after you mow.

Clippings left on top of a freshly cut lawn make it look unfinished. Run the sweeper behind the mower and they go into the hopper instead of getting blown back across the grass.

It handles the rest of the yard in the same pass: dry leaves, pine needles and pine cones.

  • Picks up grass clippings after mowing
  • Handles leaves, pine needles and cones
  • Quiet, with no engine to start

No bending. No bagging by hand.

Raking means bending over again and again to scoop piles into bags. With a sweeper you stay upright and walk at a normal pace.

When the hopper is full, tip it out in one go and keep sweeping.

5Reason 5 of 5

Rolls smoothly over bumps and dips.

A push sweeper is powered by its wheels, so the wheels matter. Large rubber-coated wheels grip the ground to keep the brushes turning and roll more easily over uneven patches than hard plastic wheels.

  • Large rubber-coated wheels
  • Better grip on uneven ground
  • Nothing to charge, fuel or plug in

Plus

A V-shaped brush

Instead of one straight bar, the brush is shaped in a V. It is designed to sweep debris into the hopper more cleanly and tangle less than a standard straight brush.

Questions

Good to know before you buy

Is it hard to push?

There is no motor, so you power it just by walking. It rolls easiest on mowed grass with the brush height set correctly. If it feels heavy, raise the brushes a notch.

Which size should I get?

Choose 21 in for smaller yards, tight gates and quick touch-ups. Choose 26 in for medium to larger lawns: the wider path and bigger hopper mean fewer passes and fewer trips to empty.

Does it pick up wet leaves?

Dry debris sweeps best. Wet, matted leaves stick to the lawn and the brushes, so wait until they dry if you can.

Can I use it on a driveway or patio?

Yes. Adjust the brush height so the brushes make contact with the hard surface.

Does it need assembly?

Yes, some assembly is required. Instructions are included in the box.
